Admission Qualification :
The candidate seeking admission to the M.Tech in Computer must have passed B.E/B.Tech in Computer, MCA/M.Sc (Computer)/MBA(IT)MIT/DOEACC ‘B’ Level or Equivalent of any recognized board / Council.
Program Duration :
The program duration for M.Tech in Computer Engineering will be Two years comprising of Four Semesters but the candidate will have to complete the program within six years from the session of enrollment.

Realizing the importance of the computer industry in the national development programme, the Government of India in 1984 announced a rationalized computer policy with the, main objectives of:
(i) enabling manufacture of computers based on the latest' technology and progressively increasing indigenisation, consistent with economic viability,
(ii) simplifying existing procedures to enable users to obtain computers meeting their requirements, and
(iii) promoting appropriate applications of computers,
which catalyze the development process.
